Finally, I got some pistachios from Super Walmart. Its funny how that nearby groceries stores didnt sell pistachios.
I made some amazing delicious cookies last nite. Its called Mexican Wedding cookies. I think I did baked these cookies before but I cant really remember. Maybe I could have while making so one of many cookies for Hari Raya Aidilfitri back in Singapore. 
                              
                                 

The recipe I got from Marye Audet from Baking Delights- http://www.bakingdelights.com/2008/05/08/mexican-wedding-cookies/. I think she is an amazing woman. I love reading her blogs and trying out her recipes. At first I thought  the subject title in her blog was a Wedding cake but actually it was cookies....

The recipe require to chill the dough for 3 hrs. I realised that I do not have the confectioner's sugar so I grind the white sugar in the blender. It didnt turn out to be like the one in Marye's picture but it was good. The smell of the cookies in the oven, reminds me of the times I baked cookies for Hari Raya Aidilfitri ... I love baking cookies.. As I was the only person to bake 'kuih raya' (cookies) for Hari Raya Aidilfitri at home, this year, Im not sure who is gonna bake the cookies. Perhaps, my aunt will give some to my mom..

Me and Papi cant wait to try the cookies. When we took a bite, omg..... The cookies were great. He gave me thumbs up for the amazing cookies.... :)  Half the cookies are gone now...... hehehe...
